Have messaged Marilyn 21 nov 13 unread as yet

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 24 Nov 2013 11:02

Sylvia did send me a PM on Friday when she said that she had sent a PM to Marilyn.

From what she said, it's highly probably that Marilyn's Norah is related to the young man Sylvia knows.

I've sent her another PM to reminder her that starting new thread is not the way to go about contact Marilyn this soon.

Welcome to the boards Sylvia - its great if the young man you know is the same person.

As Marilyn is still a relatively new poster (6 posts to her name of which 5 are on here), click on her name to send a message. Hopefully she still has the same contact address and will be able to reply to you.

Fingers crossed that it all works out for them both and that it isn't just a coincidence

Can you give us some more background on Eileen? Where was she from? Could she have married again? There are more possibilities if she married again.

Locations would be very useful.

patchem Report 21 Apr 2013 09:32

Do you know if the surname Duffy was definitely used, as she would be Mrs Shepherd at the time of birth?

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 21 Apr 2013 08:29

So the birth is under Duffy not Shepherd?
What area are we looking at ?

Marilyn Report 21 Apr 2013 08:27

There is a male child (no name) born to Eileen Duffy in 1988. She was younger than her husband so he may have passed on and she used her maiden name.

brummiejan Report 18 Apr 2013 22:15

Well, her birth is there Penny!

Penny Report 18 Apr 2013 21:51

wouldn't have thought Norah was a 1970's name! Maybe it was.
