I know thats what happens as i have subscribed to this but do not pay. As i explained, it was never mentioned that the add: and no: being looked for was ex directory. I was trying to help the best i knew how and with what i thought the guy wanted. All i seemed to get back from Reggie was sarcasm and thats not on.
Apologies if i come across a bit strong as i know you were trying to explain to me and help out. Thank for the explanation anyway. Nice to know that you are here to help others

Harry mentioned that she could possibly be in a care home....in which case you would need to see the name and address of the care home to find a phone number as there would not be one in her name.

Quite a few people on here subscribe to Find my Past they now include ER's but are not as good as 192.com or People tracer...but for no extra cost you can't complain

Yes Reggie that is correct and that is what Harry wanted .... an address and telephone number. I know that some are ex directory but this was not mentioned

192's 'free' results are only what one can find by looking in the phone book

From what I can see Mandy directory enquiries are free but this is what it said about my address

While directory enquiries on 192.com is free, most of our listings are premium and not in the phone book. To view premium records like this one, you need to register and get some credits. It just takes a few minutes.

Harry, anyone can have a 192.com account. You dont have to pay for such info either. I signed myself up today and got adds: and nos:. You only need to pay if you want certain things.

I shamefully didnt find her, however i have found another beryl in lancashire and located her in burnley, if any one could please pass on the address for her, it seems as though it may be a care home or something as theres a lot of names on the 192 thing, thanks everyone :-)
