Constance's older brother was born in 1915. He was called Sydney, he died young from heart problems. I know he had 2 sons one of them might have been called Sydney I suppose , they possibly lived in IOM, when younger, but I haven't followed this yet. A number of Manx do live in Lancashire, I might follow up the nursing home. When I am there, I sometimes hear Manx accents though mostly amongst the older ladies.

This Sydney was born in 1938, so NOT an older brother to Constance, any relation?

And who was the man's father?

His youngest sister was/is Constance Clucas who lived in Aberdeen and was a district nurse. my mother met her once as a child. She moved? from her house fairly recently. Another cousin Rene died very recently, it would be interesting to track down this side of the family, while my mother is still alive and has memories of her youth.

His father was my gt uncle who was born in the I.O.M, J. A Clucas lived in Glasgow, but I'm unsure where he was born. My gndfather died long ago. I was researching early death in the family............

I am looking for any living relatives of John Alfred Clucas, it is possible that he is alive at 100 but unlikely, I am trying to trace his children, he had 3 according to my granddad, I've tried 192 but have had no luck, he lived in Glasgow for a time and is mentioned in the medical register. I've found 64 names to follow but as a family the Clucas' travelled........... there are loads of them all over the world. Doni
