Were you adopted? Have you applied for and received/viewed your adoption file? That may give the names of siblings to look for and possible clues about your parent(s) family.

If you were adopted, then add your name to the Adoption Contact Register
https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register.

Although we aren't supposed to add living relatives names with out permission, add your mother's name (if known) to your tree along with any other family members you know of.
That way, if they are also searching they can find you.
