Bognor Regis could be significant maybe that's where she gave birth

No obvious birth record so maybe the child was still born

Hi Everybody, help needed.....
I know it is a long shot, but I believe that I have an older sibling who was born in Gt. Amwell, Hertfordshire in 1940.
My mother who in is her 90s has been talking about her past, especially the war years (WW2), she is poorly and is trying to put things right. In 2006 a family argument occured between her and her younger sister, which ended up with my mother being told that she was no goody goody, that she had to get married and what happened to the child that was born.
My mother has been saying she wants to go to Bognor Regis to see her son, I've offered to take her but she has said "NO".
If there is anyone out there who knows anything I would be grateful, I have always said that I felt that I was the second born.
I have checked all the records, but have come up with nothing, but we know that things happened during the war years which are not mentioned, especially where babies were concerned???
