Need Help please. This is my 2nd letter about Steven. I'm trying to trace my son who was adopted at birth. Born on 17/11/66 at Marston Green Maternity Hospital, Birmingham.
Got as far as relocating his adoption file which is now held at Staffordshire County Council.
Have contacted afteradoption.org.uk 3 weeks ago and am still awaiting to hear from them.
Can anyone recommend a good registered search agency to help me please?

Keilin, as you have already put your contact details on the adoption register, the only other thing I am aware that you can do is to ask if these details can be attached to his adoption file. All this depends on the your son wishing to find his birth family. I am not sure it works the other way round, as I believe the adopted person's privacy is protected - but someone else might know differently!

Thanks Jan for your help. I wrote a letter 25 years ago to Steven and it was placed with his adoption file. To date, he has not accessed his file, but they inform me that that could be for a number of reasons and not to give up hope.
I can but continue in hope.
