Thankyou all so much for all your help . I cant believe how helpful you have all been. I will keep you updated on my progress. Im in shock at the moment at how much people have helped and so quickly. Im gonna take a big breath and follow up the possible leads.

If you look here for Shortt with mother's maiden name Charlton you will see you have lots of uncles and aunts.

Yes if she has changed her email address she wouldn't be notified.

You could always try again just incase she has just automatically deleted the email from genes

Ah, ok! Im new to all this.
There is still a green envelope there, So does that mean she has not recived or opened it. As for her membership number being 3 or 4 years old, if shes changed email address since signing up does that mean she wouldnt have had noticification of it? I sent the message about two weeks ago (seems like an eternernty though!!!!)

I have already found it and have messaged Janice Shortt, but have not heard anything back, not too sure if she hasnt got message or maybe doesnt want contact. have no way of knowing!!!!

There's a Mark Shorrt with a tree on here and Janice Shorrt also, go to 'search 'at top right and click, then click on search trees and enter Mark Shorrt.

My name is Helen Quinn. I was born Rachel louise Shortt on june 30th 1971. I was adopted in Brentwood Essex. My mothers name was Janice Margaret Shortt born 1947 and she had a son called Mark William Shortt born 1967. I am looking to contact both of them. Can anyone help please.
