Does anyone know Phyllis May. She is my birth grandmother. My Mum's mother. She was a chambermaid at the Savoy hotel in 1935 when my mum was born. No Father named on birth certificate.

Welcome to the boards, Lesley.

Do you have any further information about your grandmother from any adoption files? Does she have any middle names?

Have you tried to find any possible births or marriages for her in the area, from free bmd?
