Hi CHristopher, have you tried other peoples trees to see if Carl is in theirs by any chance. DONT give up for i was searching for people a few years back and was more or less getting similar replies - but yes i kept perservering and wow i found the people i was looking for.

would a 14 year old still have the same email address when they are 20? I know my daughters have changed theirs

Have you looked at the many Carl Reads on facebook to see if any are likely?

There is one born 1993 possably living in the Bristol area on Facebook...the only Carl Read I can see a birth for that year born and lives Yorkshire ...so not him

so worth a look.....wearing a red T shirt dark haired

will send you a photo see what you think

Christopher was told in August 2013 that Carl had a tree...... But as I also mentioned the membership number is fairly old Carl being about 14 when he opened it,so the likelihood that he would still have the same email address is very slim

Possibly where Christopher got the name Read from

Carl has himself listed on his tree and his name is given as Carl Read as the tree holder

Since starting this thread it looks like the childrens mother has added them to her tree.....are you in contact?

Seek the help of Social Services, Christopher ,they may agree to assist you,depending on the reasons why you were enstranged from your children.If you were a named father your permission may have been sought for the adoption to take place.

They are still young adults and may need assistance from a professional body to any reunion you may wish for.

Put your self on the national register.................as per URL posted 6th August

If these children are aware they were adopted, and have any interest in finding blood family, they may have done the same
