hi thankyou so much for that info! joan was my dads adoptive mother,they lost touch some years ago and we were hoping to fnd her as my dad didnt find out he was adopted until after they lost touch,although we now know who my real dads mum is (nancy ellen simmons who married a alvin beach) we still dont know who my dads real father was and we were hoping joan may of been able to of given us some answers...so sad to find out she has passed! the only other option is to try and find my dads step sisters usan,lesley or susan lewis.
