Looking for my wifes Birth Father. Would be about 82 . Lived in Coventry in 1950's. Married in Ireland 1951.Subsequently divorced.

His declared age was 20 - His Fathers name was John Greene and they married at Kinvaro ,Co Galway - Would i be able to track back on his Army No - I guess he was doing National Service ??

The only address on the wedding certificate is Kinvara Co Galway - His occupation is stated as a Labourer. Although on my wifes Birth Certificate it says he was a Private in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and a miller at a Radio Works which I can only assume was the GEC.

Looks like he married a Margaret Walker in GORT
the index just says KENNETH

It says GORT on the marriage certificate - His spouse remarried in 1955 - Is there a way of checking when Divorces were made Decree Nisi - Would assume it would be Birmingham Divorce Court. ? - So it looks a possibility that his is the marriage in 1959.
