I have a cousin that was adopted when nearly a year old, my mother used to
look after him and he was her sister's child. Unfortunately he had to be adopted.
My mother never gave me much information but I think about him often and
feel I would like to try and find him.....I do know his name was Michael Anthony Dunning and he was born about 1943/44

Would his name still have been changed even though he was nearly a year old
when adopted? Is putting my name on the adoption register the only chance
I would have of possibly finding him ?

Thanks for any help.

Births Jun 1943 (>99%)

Dunning Michael A Mack Essex S.W. 4a 412

He could still have the same first name but would imagine his surname has changed

Have you thought of adding your name to the adoption contact register?

Yes I have Jax, I think that may be the only possible option of success.

Thanks for your help.

Do you know the others who have Doris on their family tree cos if Michael or his family were interested in their/his roots, they may have posted her birth on GR.

Also do you know the poster who has Michael on their family tree ?
