If you look in your 'sent' folder, anything with a green envelope next to it hasn't been read. I have quite a few!!

What to do next...
Mostly you look on here for other trees that contain the people you're looking for or look on the electoral roll and write (or phone) to them the old fashioned way.

Is there anyway of telling when someone was last on this site. It is frustrating when you message someone about possible family connections and they don't reply! Maybe they set up their tree and never returned. Do we have anyway of knowing if they have opened the message! All help very much appreciated.

after searching the birth records for a relative, what do you do next? how can I get in touch with that person to see if it is actually the person I am looking for? any advise would be greatful!
