Hope - as already mentioned, click on Angela's name to send her a personal message (PM).

If she is still using the linked email address, and can access it, she'll be able to log onto GR to read & reply to you.

For those who didn't see the RR post, it included a production company related email address and a phone number. No - I didn't report it.

Sorry Hope but it's against the T&C,s of the site to post personal info

You should delete the emails address and the tel nos

If anyone wants to make contact they will click on your name and send a private message. You can then swap personal info offline

There are three trees with a Breda Dunne in 1937,47 &50

1958 is not impossible...but would be very surprised if it was her

Have you searched this site to see if you have been entered in a tree under your birth name?

If the tree owners also have Breda Dunne, they obviously know about you.

It might be best to wait until you've accessed your adoption file - that way you may have additional information.

There are 3 entries for Breda in 'Trees', where the birth place is known, its in Ireland.
1937, 1947, 1950. Without finding records to check against, these could be 'best guess' dates.

Applied for it, but only last week. I had a meeting last week that provided me with her name. Presumably now the next piece of information I need is her birth date?

I suppose its possible she got pregnant at that young age and was sent to London to have the baby and then went home after the birth .

Do you have your adoption file . you are entitled to it

Wow!!! Thanks for your responses. How comes I could not find the young Irish girl? Do I need to upgrade my membership? I did think she was very young but not impossible???? I will register now. Many thanks. Nursing home is indeed in north London. I have registered on their KNOWHERE site to contact other mothers/ adopted adults that stayed there. Is it appropriate to contact somebody that mentions her name within their family tree??? How do you do that 'delicately' .

Add yourself to the national adoption contact register......and hope that she has done the same

Bear in mind that her current family may be unaware of you.............so tact and discretion are vital.

This site is not secure

I would suspect the location may be Irish

Angela Report 2 Sep 2013 16:35

I am looking for Breda Mary Dunne. She gave birth to a baby girl November 1970 in St Pegalias / St Josephs nursing home / 34 West Hill. I am at the very beginning of my search and would welcome any information.

Many thanks
