Hi Val,
I have heard back from Linda, and if you could kindly private message me your email address to pass on to her, she will be in touch with you.

Fairthorn, Linda is not even sure if Christine knows she exists as Linda was just a toddler when Christine was born and adopted out :(

We are hopefully trying to exhaust every avenue in an effort to trace Christine.

Penny

Valerie has reunited persons with their birth parents
odds are they knew their parents full name from their adoption file or original birth certificate.
it is a lot easier for the adopted person to trace their parents than the other way round !!
Sadly in this case the birth mother has passed away.
They could look for the birth father, as Christine could have traced him or even leave a letter in her adoption file.

OR has Linda put her OWN birth data in Google just in case Christine is looking for her !

Does Val realise it is SCOTLAND so it is a pay as you view website !

Val- how do you find people if you only know their pre-adoption name?

my name is val. i am 46 and dont work due to disability. i have reunited 2 people with their parents, who were adopted at birth. as i dont work, i have a lot of time on my hands. i am offering to try and do a few searches on the net, on your behalf to try and help you find your sister. i am not making promises, but i can try my best. i don't want any reward for this, but if i give you any info which helps you find your sister, or indeed, do find your sister, i would appreciate a small donation to gateshead cats protection league. thank you. best wishes in whatever you do, regarding your sister. hugs, val xx

I am posting this on behalf of Linda A. Grieve, with her permission.
She is searching for her sister, Christine Mackenzie, born 29th September, 1965 who was adopted, after her mother passed away the following year. Christine's birth mother was Mary Mackenzie.
If anyone possible has any information on Christine, I would be grateful if they could pass it on to me, in order that I can pass to Linda.
I forgot to add that Christine was born in Glasgow, Scotland.

Many thanks
Carole
