Is this man likely to know of your existence? Is he named on your birth cert?

When was he born?

Joanne Report 6 Jan 2014 20:01

He would be about 71 and I believe he was born in Doncaster. I was adopted and he remained in touch with my birth mother for some time. I don't have an exact date of birth for him but I am trying to obtain my adoption file which may contain this information.

If you go to free bmd:

you will be able to find his birth. (Or one that just about fits your description)

You can then apply for the birth certificate.

He would appear to be in trees on here......

If that is the correct person, then his parents names can easily be found via free bmd, and their deaths show on ancestry.
