Unless she is a GR member who actively uses the message boards, she can't see your post

Have you tried looking for her................anywhere?

If you know when and where she was born, look in 'search all trees' to find out if she uses GR

Charles was born 1918 in 'England', according to the OP's GR tree.....................too vague for any sort of search to be made - especially as there is no birth on freebmd to support that 'info'

On FreeBMD.com there are 13 births 1938-1950 for a Jennifer Hawley.

Geographically they range from Yorkshire to Hertfordshire.

Sorry Jean - as a new poster on to the boards, you probably didn't realise that we do need to have a few more details to even attempt to assist you.

Jennifer was born around 1948 to Eric and Elizabeth and they lived in Wakefield, Yorkshire. That is about all I know.

Well, do some research......................starting with accurate birth year info for Jennifer

Then look for the deaths of her parents.........buy copy certs to see who registered them

As her father was (presumably) your father's brother, you must know when and where he was born............

Or was Eric your mother's brother?

Your info is a bit sparse

If Eric was Eric S..........he didn't marry anyone named Elizabeth - at least, not before the possible birth reg'n of Jennifer.
