Thanks everyone, I had no idea of the second husband but can see, the bits seem to fit and I will revisit some facts I have you guys rock, I know Valerie died but no details :-)

Edward remarried in the 1970s to Hilda Holden around Bristol area

is Frederick Arthur luhr is this a English name?

Possibly German, cannot see him on 1911 to see his parents etc.

I thought that Frederick had a brother:

and so was looking for both of them in 1911, either together or separately.

I then found a Cecil Luhr on the ER both before and after marriage (1929, Brentford) so was then looking for possible father also in 1911, as there was Ada, Cecil, George and Robert together in 1928.

There is a slight discrepancy as shows as Cecil E or Cecil Ernest once he is married, but just Cecil in this group. But if it was his father filling in the form then he could just have not used middle names.

There is a George Luhr in 1908 and 1913 living in Linkfield Road, Brentford, 129 in 1908 and 122 in 1913. He is still there with Ada, and different Luhr's in the 1920's.
Cannot find him in 1911.

I said that the name was German, and so was hoping to find him in 1911 to see if his parents were German, regardless of his actual place of birth.
