Hi,

I know that a daughter of John Syme (Melanie) is on this site but I am trying to locate either John himself or any of his relatives.

My mother and John were married in Falkirk and divorced in 1983 I think.

If he is Scottish and still lives in Scotland, there a quite a lot of John Syme's on the electoral roll

As far as I know he does not have another christian name and I have no other information and my sister and I are not on speaking terms and i doubt she has more information than I already possess.
I have contacted many of the John Symes on the electoral register but no success so far.

Do you have their marriage cert it should give you some info that may help

You can buy it through Scotlands People, it is on there
