Find Living Relatives

Roden carden born 1931 was my birth father. He died some years back and I never met him but since finding my birth mother I have found out there may be other siblings. I was born in 1966 and there may have been a son and daughter around 8 & 12 years at the time. I don't really know where to start, if he married again, if there are siblings. If anyone could offer me some help and direction I would be extremely grateful. Thank you in advance :-)

Have you got his death certificate for the name of the informant, who may be a relative?

Have you looked to see if he is in anyone's tree on here?

You say that you are looking for a son or daughter of his who were born about 1954 and 1958.

We cannot see a marriage of his in this country before that one in 1975.

Who told you about the siblings, and do you know if they were legitimate children of his, or born to someone who was not married to him?

As he was born in London but died in Leicester, do you know when he moved?

You say that you have located the birth and death certificates - have you actually applied for them for further information?

Free bmd shows no weddings for his parents in London, so that birth certificate is needed for his parents' names so we can look for further family members who may have information.

Unless this man was present at the birth(s) of his child(ren) or was married to their mother(s) you have very little hope of identifying them.

You say 'if he married again'..........but there is no record of a marriage for him before 1975................

It is possible that one of the following marriages is for his parents...............but until you get a copy of his birth cert, there is no way of being sure.
