	look on Search Trees to see if anyone has them in their tree Its highly unlikely a relative will just respond to your enquiry. have you checked on FreeBMD to see if they had a children?

Member Since: September 2012 Posts: 4 Send Message	Yes, we have all of the above info. She is named as Louisa Jane on her marriage certificate and her sons birth certificate. Her father is named as Joseph Speed. She was supposed to be French, but not sure how that fits unless she was illegitimate.

	maybe she didnt like the name May so dropped that for Jane the birth cert should confirm if her dad was Joseph cant see how she was French tho as the 1911 census states born Somerset
