Leonard's death notice would very likely name his child(ren), i.e. show Carol's married surname if any

what we are not understanding is why you are posting a message addressed to Carol here ... the chance of her seeing it is almost nil

you will see that she has 3 family trees at this site with herself in them, and someone else also has her in their tree

her trees are under her second married surname

click on the 'find out more' button beside her name and send her a private message

(send a message to all three of her accounts, hoping that she has a current email address attached to one of them)

Since Allan is new I will send him a PM with contact info for Carol from the ER
