Looking for half sister in Leeds area

Hi

I am searching for my half sister who was adopted in 1970/71 by a family in Leeds.One of the relatives who adopted her was called Mrs Ada Kelly.Our mother was half Jamaican and died in 1978.My sister will be around 45years old and was born in Doncaster.Our mothers maiden name was Alison.

Julian,

Use the search facilty to see if the person is registered on this site using her birth name.

Top Right Search,scroll to Search all Members Trees.....if any matching results show you can send a direct message using the persons name to the right.

Also try in your late mothers name incase that also shows up.

No I don't think so all I know really is a Mrs Ada Kelly adopted her and she will be 45ish and she is a quarter Jamaican

If you know her birth name perhaps it could be found on Facebook?some often do that in the hope.

Unfortunately I don't know her name I have never met any of my family so this is all the info I have

The reason I mentioned Hinton........is because it is the only birth registered in Doncaster between 1961 and 1971.

MMN Alison.

There are no Alison/Alison births registered in Doncaster between 1961 and 1971.

The only Alison/Alison birth registered in that time period is 1967 in Salisbury.

Jules thought that his half sisters name might be registered in the surname of "Kelly"

But there are no Kelly/Alison births registered in that time frame.

Nor a death for a Marguerite in 1978 who was born in 1951.

Marguerite had four children one was stillborn one died after a couple of weeks then my sister and then me

Also she was 22 when she had me in 1973 so she could have been born 1950 and she died june78 but not sure where
