Can anyone tell us where my cousins in the Brown family born in Co Durham are now living.
Norman was born in Gateshead and Leonard was born in Stockton.
I would like to speak to them so that more details can be added to our research.
Regards
Hedley Brammer

These are Leonards born in Stockton:

Births Sep 1925
Brown Leonard Turner Stockton 10a 132
Births Mar 1926
Brown Leonard E Ashforth Stockton 10a 131

There are quite a few Normans born in Gateshead, but not with the same mmn?

Added:
Are Leonard and Norman about your age, so born in the 1940's?

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your replies so far.
We are up to date on our own family under Brammer it is the Brown side we are having the problems, yes we accept that Brown is a very difficult area because of the number of them that exist.
John Brown is the farther to Norman & Leonard and we have there births as 3rd quarter 1929 & 2nd quarter 1932 for their respective registrations.
We also have Leonard marriage to Joan Pamela Hancock 2nd quarter 1957.
They had 2 children, a girl 2nd quarter 1958 and a boy 2nd quarter 1961 both in Cleveland, Yorkshire.
There was some talk that Norman married someone with 4 children but that is not proving helpful yet.
If this helps anyone to help us to find them so we can talk to them we would be very grateful

If Leonard was born 2nd quarter 1932 , then in Darlington not Stockton?

Have you identified Joan's birth, and checked to see if she is in anyone's tree on here, and tried to contact tree owners?

Have you got the exact dates of birth, so that you can check for deaths, for Norman and Leonard and possible partners?

Hi
Accept that the registration is Darlington but we know they we living in Stockton area at the time.
We know the birth registration for Joan (know as Pam) as 2nd quarter 1932 reg. in Darlington.
We are lacking in the exact details for Norman and Leonard which is part of the reason for wanting to talk to them.
Thanks

Have you found their parents on the 1939 Register?
If the 'boys' names have been revealed then you'll know that they have certainly died.

As you already know their birth reg, you could buy a copy of their certificates. That'll help you identify any possible death reg to 2006. Of course, while we hope that they are both fit & well, you do need to consider all possibilities.
