Pte Arthur Herbert Hensbury #1435 Cook

Arthur was from Fulham (wife Sarah Edith Henbury) but served with the 4th Brigade AIF as a cook.
He was in Darlinghurst Detention Centre in 1916, and wrote a letter seeking a pardon, a copy of which has ended up in the Military File of someone I am researching. He was in the original landing at ANZAC Cove in 1915 and the letter contains details of this and his service..
I would be happy to hand this over to any relative of Pte Henbury who might be out there

Welcome to the boards, Michael.

It is highly unlikely that anybody from his family will see this thread. You could try putting his name in Search all trees (under Search at top of screen) and if anybody on the site has him in their tree, you could contact them direct.
