Hello Maddie,
thankyou for your prompt reply to my enquiry. The 1901 census and 1911 census identify him age 1 and 11,my grandmother was Alice Jeavons aged 6 in 1901.
Arthurs older brother Alfred served with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he was killed on 30th august 1918 and his name is on the memorial at Vis-en-Artois. Pas de Calaise France. Grandma Alice`s husband, my grandfather William Harris also served with the South Staffords from 1912 -1918 He was discharged 10th jul 1918 due ill health probably from being gassed and spent a long time in sanatoriums,he never fully recovered and died in 1923.

hello all,
my grandmothers brother athur thomas jeavons was born in the year 1900.
he lived in kates hill dudley worcestershire.
he would be 17years old in 1917 when he enlisted or was conscripted in the army.
i have a medal card for private arthur t jeavons 202142 who served with the south staffordshire regiment and was awarded the victory medal and the british war medal
he, like so many was killed and has no known grave or memorial. any information on him would be invaluable.
