Hubbys Grand Uncle HENRY CHARLES WILLIAMS born 07 12 1897 Barnett London

apparently he died in INDIA in WW1 approx 1920

I can't seem to find this so any help finding his death in WW1 i would be very grateful

Did he die during or after WW1? The war ended in 1918.

I don't know its a bit vague

Hubbys mum says Henry died in in India around about 1920 so it could of been during the war

he was born in Barnett in 1897 & him & his two brothers were brought up by grand parents as both parents died when the three boys were infants

The first record Kath posted - the image says he died 2nd march 1922 of a ' fracture base of skull'.

He was Corpl H Divl or Dril Signals

Which probably tallies with Chris Ho's chap

I think the 3 records Kath posted all relate to the same man/death.

That looks right Chris. Seems to be the first death I posted.

The death certificate can be ordered from the GRO using the references given.

One of his brothers names was Albert (bertie) looks like this has to be the right one
