Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.Pte.4289169
Hit a brick wall.I can't find him on any of the Military Records and think I have tried them all.Have sent to Army Records in Glasgow and the KOYLIES but there researcher is unwell at the moment.
I believe he was awarded the Italian Star,Burma Star,Eygypt or West Africa Campaign
Plus the War Medals.
I think he was a regular before the war.
All help would be gladly received

Documents for those who served post 1920 are still with MOD. See link below.

Widows/widowers can get the documents free others £30 and you have a several months wait.
