Must say it is all starting to sound a bit odd :-D

But for what it is worth I am a Notts lass now also living in a County south of London. I am mum to two offspring - girl and boy - both over 20 but not 30.

I own a big dog and walk for hours with him. I also own 5 chucks and a cat .Also an aviary. . My husband is not grumpy - I am!!! According to him anyway ;-)

Snow is cold and nasty - only good for photographs. Roll on Spring!

Hi Tiamo, my dog is a small mutt, what is yours? Ours is not Judy's first living accommodation, as a young dog Judy was abandoned :-(

lots of snow this past night, first tiny bits, but big bits of floaty stuff at midnight.

now lots of sun and our snow is thawing,must go and top up bird bath and food.

My mutt was a stray - 9 months old - now 13 and still going strong.

Am about to light my wood burning thingy and grab a good book - but no alcoholic distillations :-( I don't drink much. Might also do Mariokart on Wii - what a laugh. In my 2nd childhood :-D

No snow today. Muddy walk, dog with mucky paws in car :-(

Sun in sky but big pond in country park still has cold hard crust on it, birds not swimming but skating. Lots of kids cycling and folk jogging. Van with hot drinks and snacks busy.

Icy rain Friday. Schools shut down at noon, so I had to pick up grandkids during an icy downpour. Driving in such conditions is no picnic. It is thawing today but still -2'C.

My mutt is also 13 and in good nick, but I do think Lucy's sight is fading - probably cataracts.

Sad that Lucy's sight is failing. Our last dog's mind was failing, Holly was 17 and a visit to an animal doctor was our only solution. :-(

I think the sun is about to pop out.

I am going to cook a roast today with all the trimmings.

I 'm thinking about making a tapioca pudding too.

Roast and trimmings, sounds good, I am on my way :-)

Good job i bought lots of stuffing balls, carrots, parsnips, broccoli, sprout's, turnips, and a big joint of lamb!

Oh, and gravy!!

What a good notion this is. How hard it is to put down thoughts without that particular symbol. A brain storming notion to multiply an individuals mind past usual limits, can only occur if a bright individual puts a plan into motion.Congratulations.

Snow,totally all missing now, bright start to a windy Sunday,
