Born about 1897.Died 1947 aged 50.Had one child with surname Alexander then married SIDNEY LEONARD CURCHIN and had 4 children with him.My mother is one of those children.We have so little information about the family.Sidney died in the 9 months up to Eva having my mother.Then Eva died when my mother was only 8 years old. Can anyone help please. Was she married twice or wasAlexander her maiden name.What was her maiden name? We have so many questions.

If the births were registered in Kettering, the MMN was Alexander, so it would seem that Alexander was her name at birth.

Have you checked freebmd for a birth reg'n for Eva?

Does anyone know anything at all about this lady.Born about 1897.Want to find out if this was her maiden name or was she married to an Alexander,She had one child named Maurice Alexander. She went on to have 4 children with Sidney Leonard Curchin.My mother being one of these children.She was married to Sidney.She died in 1947 aged 50.My mother was only 8 years old.Sidney died in the 9 months up to my mothers birth in 1939.This is why my mother has no family knowledge,losing her father before birth and mother at the age of 8. I would love to be able to give my mum some information.If I could just find out something about Eva.

If you look at the dark green bar at the top of this page and go to search trees you will find 3 people with Sydney Alexander on their trees,

People defy belief!!!!

I have even sent this member a PM, and she has ignored that!

It seems that she posted both threads within the space of a few minutes..................

I have had several like that in the past few days.

It is quite disheartening. I could have found out more but I was waiting for a response.

And I gave her exactly what she asked for- a chance to contact living relatives.
