Following Dawn Wilcock's message, I would also like to thank you to you all at GenesConnected and Dawn. Last year following the death of my father-in-law, I found a large pile of letters written in the 1960’s all talking about members of my husband’s family I had never heard of. I tried to find these people through FriendsReunited, but had no luck. Then, the other week, I found Dawn’s message, looking for anyone related to her Grandad, (who had actually written the letters I had found). The best thing, of course, is that Dawn and her brother are now reunited with their Dad, but I also now have loads more names on my family tree, and can’t wait for our big family reunion in September. Thanks to everyone. |
