I live in Australia & have been using this site for many yearsnow. I met a distant cousin Fred who lived in Essex thru this site & on one of my trips to england met him & his Mum.
I a wanted to do a reunion of our GGGrandads 5 children. Fred Encouraged me as i was able to trace so many relo's.
sadly Fred passed away in 2009, But i went ahead.
In July this year I had found descendants of the 5 children.
I packed my bags & off to london I went, having only met freds Mum Pat.
We had the reunion at Datchett & everyone was so lovely, they came from Essex, Devon , Eastbourne, Newcastle & North london & Australia.
We had a lovely time & I am sure Fred was there too.
It made my researching so much more rewarding.
THANX Genes for all your help.
