Through Genes Reunited I found my younger half sister. I began researching my family tree in October 2010. About a month later I was in correspondence with a young lady who it turned out was my younger half sister. She had put her family details on Genes Reunited as a kind of calling card. She had known about me for a few years but had been unable to trace me and I was unaware of her existence, having lost touch with my father when I was still very young. Anyway we had a match on our father's details and the rest is history. We have since met and keep in touch regularly. Sadly my father had passed away, along with my grandparents but I hope to have contact with my Uncle and his children as well. |
