Not been around for a few days. Today using the http://www.genesreunited.co.za all seemed well and I did not have to sign in.
Strangely, in order to post on this thread, it is the http://www.genesreunited.co.uk site :-S

Jane, AnninGlos - Just so that you don't think you're going mad, I also experienced this while using the site on my phone. I cannot believe it is still happening, so will continue to keep this on the agenda. And will post an update when we have one.

Sorry, Phil

Phil, Do you have sufficient information about the problem. Are you looking for patterns in the occurrences.

Would it help if people post on here, where they are, how they access the site, which site they access, their internet program, and their operating system.

Joy Report 20 Jul 2011 13:10

It had been behaving so well until just now when the usual error message appeared.

philmoir Report 20 Jul 2011 14:07

I discovered the reason it was happening on my phone - as it was related to different messages sent across different domains, i.e. someone using .co.za sending me a message, but I am permanently logged in co.uk, thus it correctly promoted me for login. The real issue here is that you're mail should only be on your domain, not one of the others.

So therefore, i'm a little surprised Joy experienced the problem. This may be a rogue one off, but keep me posted here if it reoccurs.

Thanks
Phil

Just to confirm no log-in problems for over three weeks now. I rarely log in to anything other than the .co.uk domain.

Joy

Joy Report 21 Jul 2011 12:04

Fingers crossed it was a "a rogue one off" ;-)

Sometimes I use http://www.genesreunited.co.za/, sometimes http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/; sometimes internet explorer 9 but more often 7, and google chrome and mozilla firefox.
