I only say "well that never happens to me" in jest.

I know it happens to other people, and quite a lot of other people at that.

I know when I couldn't access my inbox for nearly a year without reloading a half dozen times every time I tried to read a PM, and I got nonsense replies from GR about what browser was I using, I wasn't interested in hearing now somebody else didn't have any problems!

There are problems with the site, major problems in accessing it, that a lot of people are experiencing.

Me, I just get tired of having every single one of 'em start a new thread about it ...

:-D

Ice Ice Baby the problem is intermittent and doesn't seem to affect everyone, a bit like the in box problem at new year. I had no problems others did

Ice Ice Baby I had problems with .co.uk where I was getting logged out when changing boards, not being able to access all boards and having to log in after I had navigated away from the site.

I am now using za with no problems

If GR staff are scanning the boards then they won't be concentrating on fixing the problems.

I would prefer a message to be stickied at the top of each board, please access the site via za portal because this one seems to work best whilst we work on fixing the other portals.

Well, Phil, if you're reading -- I'm not having these problems either. :-D

The very odd error message. No problem accessing any board, no getting logged out, etc. All through .co.uk.

Is it being foreign? My browser?

?

I guess because of the varied message boards used that they are unable to open this one.to report the problem

So far I have exhausted UK , AU and NZ that are now riddled with Error messages and have presently crept in under the wire through ZA portal.!

There is a constant stream of threads on General Chat and Genealogy Chat about problems people are experiencing with the site.

Here's one of today's:

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/genealogy_chat/thread/1270818

>> Could staff maybe scan the boards a couple of times a day for these things, and put some kind of response in them?

I'm sure it won't stop another one starting the next day ... but maybe more people will see the response and pass it along ...
