Other sites ie rootschat allow such things as pictures and screen shots, Phil, so surely genes reunited could enable them, too?

I tend to forget about blogs and only looked at one just now because I looked at your link in the announcements board.

An Information board is something that I would take notice of and would remember it; blogs, no, sorry, I doubt I would remember them and, for some people in this site after certain shenanigans a while ago, just the word blog leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

Interesting suggestion. Having to think this one through. :-)

The reason I am doing it this way is that I intend to write a Technical Update for each release, and the Blog section allows these to be easier to group. I also intend to publish some screen shots in future and include lists. The Boards don't allow me that flexibility.
