Is it possible to download your family tree to disc ,if so how would i do it.I am not very good with technology :

Gary,

This board is for you to add your suggestions for changes you would like to see made to Genes Reunited, not for help requests. These probably sit better on the Genealogy chat Board.

That said, what you need to do is to download your tree from GR. To do this, Hover over the Family Tree drop down menu and click Import gedcom. As you want to export, look on the left hand side where you will find Export gedcom. Click on this and follow the instructions.

GR will email the file to you after a short wait. You can then save the file to whatever media you wish for safe keeping.

The file you receive is in gedcom format which means you will need a family tree program to open and read the information it contains.
