A Further thought

Could this be a problem with Mailbox size?
Having re-read this thread I see that there have been some reports af old messages disappearing.
When I was working, I seem to recall that we were always "encouraged" to prune our Mailboxes by reminders that if Mailbox limits were exceeded then we could not send / receive messages

I keep deleting unwanted messages but they don't go ,sends me back to first page,then can't get anywhere page not found :-S :-S :-S

I am unable to delete unwanted messages from my Inbox.

As per usual, the changes seem to have been rolled out without having been thoroughly tested...........

When will they learn?

I have not really had any problems but if someone deletes a message I sent them does it then get deleted in my sent box?

Because that seems to have happened to a message I sent last night. If thats the case we may not get replies to messages if they are being deleted.

I still have what I have sent because it is included with the inbox message I recieved....but there is not a seperate sent message

I replied to Estelle last night, and had an email waiting this morning (my time) to say my problem hopefully should be fixed by the end of work today

Had a pm waiting, replied to it.

Clicked Send ............. and got ..........

Success
Draft message has been saved


Went into that message, edited it, and clicked Send

That edited message is not showing anywhere.



so I've sent another email to Estelle :-(

I might have solved my messaging problem


I signed on to GR through Mozilla Firefox ................. and everything seems to work OK



The problem is, that I stopped using Firefox months and months ago because I would be thrown off the site after about 5 minutes. :-(



I do like my IE6 though

Sylvia, I have PMmmmmmmed you back. Received your message, and the 1 Message message on my green bar is still there. So it was not your message hiding in cyberspace which caused that.

Current browser versions are IE9 for Vista & Windows 7, IE8 for Windows XP so I'm afraid that IE6 is rather dated. Web developers hated it too and most were glad to see the back of it.

I use Firefox for 99% of the time, Ver 8 being the latest full release, and find it perfectly stable. Ver 9 beta also works fine (for the more adventurous, that is.....!)

It might be helpful to members, especially those having problems, if GR could confirm which browsers and versions they have tested with.
