And it can be done on FreeBMD by: entering in the DOB/Age Field
:
an age (e.g. 65),
a range of ages (e.g. 60-70),
a date of birth preceded by @ (e.g. @June1910) or
a range of dates of birth preceded by @ (e.g. @1910-1911).

Age of Death was included from 1 Jan 1866
Date of Birth from 1 April 1969

It can be done on Ancestry but not sure when it was introduced to the indexes

It would be nice to be able to look up the DEATH RECORDS by instead of the death date put in the BIRTH date (plus or minus 1 year) instead, as I suspect that most people have found this date and are looking for the date of death.
