Thank you Phil and the development team for all your efforts, we may moan (because that is what we do! :-)) but we do appreciate the vaguaries of IT.

A Happy Christmas to you phil, the development team and the team in GR admin. And a Happy New year too.

Good God Phil, aren't you knocking off a bit early for Christmas with so much still to be done!

But seriously Phil, my thanks to you and the GR team for listening to all our moans about the deficiencies and vagaries of the site, for tolerating the occasional insult and for trying to create Utopia for us. Your very presence and smiling avatar has now convinced many of us that GR does have a human side after all.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous and successful New Year.

P.S. Be warned, the season of goodwill expires at 11:59pm on the first of January 2012. ;-)

Happy Christmas, Phil. Thank you for all that you are trying to achieve. I think that the site is missing you - speed has s-l-ow-ed .... :-S had to sign in, and it wanted to put a different password for me!, no error message yet though ;-) :-)

A big thank you from the development team.

OK, this is not a suggestion, but before I switch off my (work) laptop for the Christmas/New Year break, on behalf of everyone in the development team, I would like to thank all members for your support, your suggestions, your continued patience, explaining your frustrations, and generally helping us evolve the Genes Reunited website. And my apologies for anyone who is still suffering with any issues.

I haven't managed to stay completely on top of every suggestion thread, but I do try and keep track of what is being said and where our problems affect most people and where our progress and change helps.

It has been very frustrating the last 12 months, and I was hoping to attend the Who Do You Think You Are event at Olympia in February with far more positives than we will have, but I do think we're making progress (at last).

So until 2012, my best wishes to all members (not just those visiting the Suggestions Board) for a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Phil Moir
