Aaargh. I typed a longish post on the Genealogy board tonight & being a fairly upright citizen (ooh I don't drop litter & I keep within the speed limits) I thought I would just check out the 'guidelines for message board use'. Guess what? When I had read the guidelines I then couldn't find my draft post & had to type it all over again! I should know better really but I was caught out this time. It does happen on other websites like if you review a product you have bought. What I should have done is highlighted and copied my message to my clipboard in case the inevitable happened but hey it is past midnight & I should be in the land of nod really ;-)

GR please can you sort this glitsch? Thx.

the general way I solve this one (took me a while!!) is just to hit the 'back' button until you get the page where you did the typing

Yes, that does work sometimes - other times I still can't find. Heyho.
