I one before this, there was something where you could click reply after each post I seem to remember, but all that happened was a string of individual replies to each person at the bottom of the thread...unless I dreamt it :-D

I remember before the Add reply button but as far as i can recollect you just had the empty box at the bottom with a submit/reply button and No send message button on the left

I have never used that purple button at the top of the page either

The add reply button only sends you to the bottom of the same page anyway just like the page down key on your keyboard

If they change the send message to Add Reply they will think they have to reply individually to everyone just like the old system.

Reggie, I think that the problem is that because the new member cannot see the Add reply button at the top or the large box at the bottom,

Whilst reading a response is the problem?

That's why i suggested that the send message button should be replaced with the add reply button,

when i have received a pm and responded the i have had members on occasion say they cannot see the Add reply button but saw the send message button first

Why not simply direct people to the very large white box below the last post?

I think that the two function buttons should remain as they are. What is needed is a simple change to the button title.

Send Message > Send PM to this Member

Add Reply > Add your Reply to this Thread

Or even remove the 'add reply' completely - the reply box below the last post on a thread is big enough!

That sounds like a good idea.

My memory is going so my apology if this has been said before.

I as many others get very frustrated when we are repeatedly having to explain to new member how To reply on their thread, often through receiving a PM from them,

They are New to the site and are trying to find their way around and we where all new members once so we do understand,

GR could help if they removed the send message button on the left of every members post on that thread, and replaced it with the Add Reply button which is at the top of the thread so not seen buy the new member whilst reading that post,
