- It was not received by me.


On top of all other issues experienced in the site in recent times, it is rather disheartening to learn that, although an email had been sent to all members, certainly at least three did not receive the email.

Probably another error from this site, Despite GR reported on FB that the site was now working as it should

We did actually send an email out to all members as well.
We want as many people as possible to have a chance to be involved in our user testing (even if it's just online testing) and give feedback :-)

Unfortunately, many of GR site's members have been left out; the invitation has been posted on the boards which are viewed by only a minority of the members.

A suggestion for the future: please send an automated message to all members.

I sent a message to GR via that announcement, and got a reply this morning ........................


Dear Sylvia

thanks for your email. The announcement we posted on our message boards is for the first round of testing. However we obviously don't want to leave any of our members out and we are looking at ways to include overseas and housebound members by using something like Skype or a secure website link.

Once we have worked out a solution we will let you all know.

I know our Aussie dollar is pretty good at the moment but not that good.

It would be interesting to know if they were going to limit the number of members who could attend as it could end up costing them a fortune.

I would love to participate ................. but £50 would only get me to the airport!


Once again, overseas members are disenfranchised .................. and many of us are or have been the biggest supporters of GR over the years.
