UPDATE 27th July - our tree team have now fixed the bug that was causing duplicate names to be created. The fix for this will be released next week.

Well it is good that for once we get the news that they have located the bug and found a fix. The delay suggests an intention to test that the fix works and the bug is no more. Hopefully.

OTOH it is possible that the fix doesn't work. Then by next weekend things will be as they are now.

I tried adding 2 records yesterday. Adding partner resulted in extra rellies bug - which can at least be fixed by deleting them. Adding child for same couple no error.

I do like the new tree diagram better than the old one. However there are lot's of other issues... I still cannot see for all the mucking about just how the new tree builder is better than the old one nor how the whole saga has improved their bottom line.

Now why with many older members they have abandoned support for software which helps the visually impaired.

If you wish to have a custom look for GRU then with Chrome or Firefox you can use GreaseMonkey, a free add-on. It won't fix bugs though.

I've been using the old tree, but can't view other trees from it
