GlitterBaby, you don't have to change your computers settings to see the page in compatible view,

If you have Internet explorer go to the top of your screen in the header where the address bar is, At the end of that bar you will see 3 icons the first looks like a piece of paper riped in half, click on that

This will not alter your computer settings but it alter how your browser views that page,

It is designed to allow people with different browsers to see content that would either be missing or displayed in a different way on another browser version

Roy

You can also do it as Cynthia suggested these changes do not affect how your browser views other sites it only affects the sites where you have selected the compatibility view and can be reversed at any time

Thanks Cynthia

BUT why should I have to alter a setting on my computer to have something that was there before the changes.

There must be still bugs with the system as I still have my Emoticons. :-)

Another person on Facebook has posted that he has lost all of his messages between members.

Don't you just love it when things change.

You managed to get the Emoticons without buying a new computor, clearing your catche (what ever that is?) or changing your browser to some strange sounding thing? :-D
