..........................................ask the members who pay, what they like and don't like on the site

And then use the 'Kolb' model

What is "Kolb" model, Gins? I certainly think some very simple canvassing of a random sample of paying members would be a starting point.

No one has asked me what I thought in over 9 years of membership - I have actually been very happy till now. Had one or two minor (and private) moans about flock wallpaper which I would not choose for my own walls. One or two updates have made me struggle, but have eventaully managed to master them ok.

This new layout is the first time I have moaned officially. If it is what people want, fine. But no one seems to know what members really want at the moment. And the official line is still "we are getting good feedback about the new layout, and sending out sunglasses temporarily whilst we fix brightness levels. In the meantime, can everyone change their puter to the latest and most expensive model and update their bruiser...."

In a nut shell, Kolb' model is about, learning, thinking, listening, reflecting, planning and taking action!

If we take action and it doesnt work, then use the model to ensure it works next time!

I hated that flock wall paper, made me think about a mates house back in the 1970s....red and fluffy it was :-0
