The Childs Hill area is not covered by Hampstead in 1908 in the Ancestry data. It seems to be nearer Barnet or Finchley but I can't see records for those in 1908.

There is a Stanley Basil Orme who lived in that area but he doesn't show up on electoral rolls until 1918.

Tracy - What s the name of the person

There are not many with that name
Junr George Albert Orme 1905 Enfield is the only one I can find
None in the Hampstead area which is Camden( I live near there)

That is the latest date I can find

No problem Tracey.

Just taken a quick look at the 1908 London electoral register on Ancestry for you and there does not appear to be anyone named Orme who was registered to vote in Hampstead.

In 1908 not that many men would have appeared on an electoral register as not many were franchised to vote. Women of course did not have the vote at that time although there were exceptions if they owned property.

May I also point out that this particular message board is not the one where it is appropriate for a question of that nature. This board is really intended for members to suggest changes that might improve GR for all.

"This board is for you to add your suggestions for changes you would like to see made to Genes Reunited. We will be unable to respond to each post individually, but we will be checking the suggestions regularly and taking your suggestions on board"
