CAPITAL LETTERS

Could someone please tell me how I can have CAPITAL LETTERS on the New GR Tree. I like to put my direct line in CAPITALS. Every time I try, and go to another relation, and then come back to the original relation, the CAPITALS have been cancelled.
If the new GR Tree programme does not allow CAPITALS .....
this is then a Suggestion.

Someone else asked about capital letters - sorry, I can't remember where or when - and Genes Reunited staff responded that it was not possible at present.

Julie,
I've had exactly the same problem. I complained to the GR Support Team on 22nd July and they replied:
"Thank you for your email.
I have looked into this matter for you, and can confirm that the only way you would have been able to enter names in the 'Old Tree' in block capitals would be if you had uploaded a Gedcom to the site with the details already entered that way. I'm afraid we cannot change the new system to allow capital letters. Maybe you could insert some text into the 'Known As' box to differentiate these relations?
I'm sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance in this matter.
Kind Regards,
XXXXXXXXX
Genes Reunited Support Team"
THAT IS NONSENSE! We've never ever used a Gedcom in our lives and our ancestors were all happily saved manually in Block Capitals for ages prior to the imposition of this abominable 'New' tree on 19th July. I wrote back complaining that their reply was less than fully accurate / truthful (and stated that I had personally typed in and saved these names in Block Capitals before the advent of the 'New' Tree format) and advised them how much I detest their 'New' tree. I just got one of their generic responses about all member feedback being taken into account when deciding future website developments ... blah, blah, blah!
The truth is the 'Old' tree accepted names wholly in Block Capitals but the 'New' tree doesn't.
It looks like we're both in the same boat with our partially defaced trees.
I'm too scared to even touch mine now in case I cause any more permanent damage.
Their suggestion about using the 'Known As' box was not particularly helpful as a guide to identifying ancestors when navigating around a large tree. That would involve using the Open/Edit panel for each individual to see if they are an ancestor or not. User-hostile, or what! Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news.
