That would depend on what record you are trying to look at?

Could it be a mothers maiden name on the births index?

Mothers maiden name was not added to the birth index until Sept quarter 1911 so some index transcriptions don't include them until 1912 and so would be "not available" until that date without buying the actual birth certificate
