To say the least, receiving an email that opens with comments relating to the other hemisphere makes it clear that you do not count - you are nothing to do with the focus of the business at hand!!
Why then would you send a monthly newsletter to people in the southern hemisphere with opening comments about days drawing-in and inferring that winter was approaching? Makes no sense and gives the recipient the idea that they are irrelevant.
Answer: Select your recipients email addresses by country or region of the world and simply make remarks accordingly OR don't make localised remarks at all and get on with the information.
I am sure that if the database of email addresses were selected on country of origin that this would present more effective marketing opportunities - as long as the emails were not too frequent!

You only have to read the GR facebook page to see that the team are only interested in the UK

There have been many a comment about the weather or TV programs that have not yet been shown in other countries...so if you do not want your enjoyment spoilt dont read it

If you want to complain send them an email as this may not get seen

UK company - UK records - UK weather

They are doing acting no differently to any other company such as Ancestry who assume we are all American!

Get over it :-D
